Denis Philippe is a founding partner of Philippe & Partners and has over 40 years’ experience in civil and family law, specialising in complex inheritance and succession matters, particularly in an international context.

He advises clients on estate planning, the drafting of wills and the resolution of inheritance disputes, including cases involving cross-border elements and multiple jurisdictions.

He holds a Doctorate in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven, combines his professional work with university teaching, and is the author of numerous legal publications. His solid training and experience enable him to offer effective solutions for wealth management and succession planning.

An experienced lawyer of Swiss origin and, since 2009, a member of the Madrid Bar Association (Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid), specializing extensively in inheritance law in both Switzerland and Spain.

For 15 years, she has been advising international clients on estate and succession planning, as well as the processing of binational inheritances between Switzerland and Spain, taking into account relevant aspects of both tax and civil law, with a clear focus on the individual wishes of clients and their family environment. She works in Spanish, German, English, and French.

She currently has her main office in Bern, Switzerland, and travels regularly to Madrid, where she practiced for 10 years, as well as to the rest of Spain as required.

Graduated in Law from the University of the Balearic Islands in July 2024.

Completed a Master's Degree in Legal Practice and Representation at the University of the Balearic Islands in September 2025.

Passed the state bar examination in November 2025 and obtained her professional title in December of the same year.

Began her professional career with a six-month legal internship, where she gained experience in the areas of civil and criminal law.

In January 2026, she joined DMS Legal, where she carries out her professional activity with a strong vocation and specialization in the field of family law.

Bachelor’s degree in German Language and Literature and Education from the University of Münster, Germany, in 2000

Since arriving in Mallorca in 2001, she has gained extensive experience in the real estate sector and in advising foreign nationals on the island.

In 2010, she joined the firm, carrying out her professional activity advising German- and/or English-speaking clients, with particular focus on the transfer of real estate assets, the handling of international inheritances, and the corresponding taxation.
